From the Revit history file: the original development team

I came across a pic that might be of interest to those interested in the history of Revit.

In this pic taken on March 24, 2000 you can see most of the original Revit pre-Autodesk development team — actually most of the entire company at the time — at one of our regular Friday new feature demos.

Attendance on Friday was mandatory for all departments. Everyone — me included — had to eventually demonstrate a feature. I vividly remember having to do so to a room full of architects and developers steeped in advanced geometry and computing. It was terrifying and fulfilling at the same time. Stumbling across this photo almost re-traumatized me.

Of historical note, this was pre-release 1 since we didn’t officially launch until April 2000 at the AIA show in Philadelphia.
